The rights for the movie was bought for Rs 1.5 crore in Karanataka,where it has grossed Rs 5 crore in collections. Magadheera is the first movie to be screened for 50 days in 2 theatres at Nandyal, Kurnool Dist. The film successfully crossed 50 days in morethan 302 direct centres which is a record .
It had collected 65+ crores world wide and the 7 crores for satellite.it has collected 80+ crores by the end of 8th week. Sources are expecting to collect around 100+ crores world wide by 100th day.Its a second movie which collected 80+ crore in india after Gajini .
